Outfit Maximization

When I go shopping I try to always think of what I already have in my wardrobe. When I add a new piece to it, I want to make sure I can wear it with multiple different pieces I already own. By doing this I give myself the ability to create many new outfits by just purchasing one new piece.

For this blog I took 6 pieces of clothing from my wardrobe, and I wanted to see how many outfits I could make from them. I had to get a little creative, but it was honestly super fun! I feel like I got to touch on so many different people's styles, while using the same pieces.

Here is what I started with:

Two pairs of shorts, two shirts, a dress, and a long cardigan.

In total I was able to create 8 outfits from these 6 pieces. Like I said they touch on a lot of different styles, which I LOVE.

This dress is one of the coolest pieces I have in my wardrobe. It unbuttons and turns into a vest, which I then tied up to create this last look.

These tee and shorts looks show how easy it can be to make different looks! If you don't want to try any new or adventurous looks, or you really just don't have the time to worry about it,  you can easily change your top or bottom piece and BAM, a new outfit!

I really wanted to do this simple blog to help show you how many outfits you have waiting in your wardrobe for you to put together. Maybe you wear that one combination all the time and feel like you wear it too much. Simple changes can make a whole new outfit!

More to come,
