Summer Style

Before I start I need to say a few huge thank you's. First, my sister, Erin. Thanks for reading all my posts and making sure I don't sound like a moron by using your amazing pr skills. Second, my amazing friend and photographer, Kacy. Thanks for making me look like I am not completely awkward in every picture. Lastly, to my followers, I feel like I am dreaming, but more than 2,000 people have read my blog so far. I am so grateful and blessed to have you all be apart of this journey. I will try to keep you entertained, but please keep me in line if I start to become boring and unfashionable.

Alright now let's do this blog thing...

In this post I want to show you guys a couple summer looks that are super easy to throw together, but look like you just popped out of a fashion magazine.

Look 1:

This first look is seriously so easy guys!

It is a jumpsuit. That's it. One article of clothing.

Throw this on and let it do the work for you. It feels like a blanket but looks like a Pinterest post. I got this bad boy from Express on the clearance rack and  have never looked back. This look is so easy to dress up with a pair of heels, or keep it casual with sandals and flats.

Want to know the best part about this jumpsuit? It can hide at least 10 food babies combined! The cinching in the middle helps make the midsection look attractive from any angle, and it is loose enough for food babies to grow. (So if you are actually pregnant with a real baby, this would be a great piece for you as well as us with food children)

Look 2:

Love them or hate them, I'm sorry but they really are back...

Overalls are back and trending again this summer.

I am with you when you are reading this with your mouth dropped, eyes rolled, and saying: How? Why? When will it stop?

I have never been a fan of them because I either look like a child or a farmer. No in-between. Style level zero. So how do we keep with the trends and not look like a toddler? We twist the trend. I took a street style approach with this look. I got overalls that weren't your stereotypical denim. The black makes them more chic. Then I paired them with popular lifestyle brands to help keep the look on trend and edgy.

After never being a fan, this overall look is extremely comfy and so fashion forward. (I'm sorry. I really couldn't resist putting that lame pun in there)

CK Sports Bra: Macy's  https://www.macys.com/

I hope these looks have inspired you to start your cute and comfy summer wardrobe.

More to Come,

Small Town Fashionista
