Amazon Finds

Hi Guys!

I hope you all are having a great week, especially now that Kohl's finally announced their partnership with Amazon!

If you haven't heard, Kohl's is now taking Amazon returns in their stores starting in July. If you are new to the blog, I am a manager for a Kohl's store, so this is huge for me! We tested it as a company in larger markets, and it was a success, which is why it is now launching company wide! YAY! Just another reason to love Amazon and Kohl's!

I did another Amazon haul and got some really good stuff! Everything I have received from both hauls has been such great quality and price!

The first piece I want to talk about are these joggers...SO SO COMFY! I put them on and really never wanted to take them off. I mean joggers could be accepted as business casual for work, right?

I paired it with a white body suit for a casual look. Honestly you will probably catch me in these bad boys way more than you should! LOL

For reference, I did purchase these in a large because I wanted them really baggy, but I still would have had the baggy aspect in a Medium.

The next great Amazon find I got were these two adorable workout tanks! I don't know about you guys, but if I have cute workout gear, I am much more likely to actually want to workout! Hahaha.

For reference, I again ordered these in a large, because I really do not like tight tops while working out. I would have been totally fine doing a medium if I didn't want a such a lose fit! 

To go with these tops, I ordered some high-waisted workout leggings. If I am being honest, I love high-waisted everything! It makes me feel more fit, and keeps everthing all tucked away! I can't be alone on this, can I? LOL

Want to know the best part about these workout leggings? You guessed it, they have pockets on the sides! I am really starting to sound like crazy person about pockets, but they just make the world a better place!

The next two dresses are so fun, and so dang cute! The black maxi can also be worn tied up in front, which is very in trend right now. The floral is perfect for Spring / Summer!

For reference, I am wearing a size large in the black dress, again could have done a medium but I love baggy clothes. In the floral I ordered a size medium and it was true to size, only area that was snug were the arms.

Last but not least is this cute little tank, and adorable mules. This tank has functional buttons on front, and it could actually be unbuttoned on the bottom and tied together to go with that current trend. These mules are so cute, and perfect for every outfit!

For Reference, I ordered a size Medium in the tank and it fit true to size. For the mules I sized up a half size and it was a perfect fit!

My First Amazon Haul

Wow, I am so excited to start this fun Amazon adventure! It is my dream come true to be able to have a little bit of personal styling happening.

I am going to try and get a routine down where I can blog about my Amazon finds once a week or close to that. However, bear with me while I figure it out through all the crazy trial and error! I am also going to try and do more pieces each week, but for this week I just stuck to 4 pieces for 4 different styles.

Let's get down to it.

My first piece I got from Amazon this week is this adorable wrap skirt! You all saw me post it on my Instagram page, and I am obsessed!! It is such a nice fit, and so on trend for the summer!! Sadly this little number has already sold down, but I will keep my eyes out for the restock! I am wearing a medium here, and it does fit true to size.

The next piece I picked out is perfect for a stylish workday, or dressing up for a night out. Tops that can do both are a must have for me! I am so in love with this top! The cut is so flattering, and it is just such a unique piece to have in your wardrobe. Just a fair warning, this to does need to be ironed, or you can be like me and just rock it with a couple wrinkles. I am wearing a Medium here, and the fit is very true to size. This top also comes in more colors, and I am tempted to buy them all! LOL

The next top is for my ladies that just like to wear a nice and simple outfit, but still bring a little fun to it. Color blocking is so trendy right now, and I love that this top throws in stripes as well. This color block shirt is so comfy, and with just a simple tuck you create a chic and simple look. This top comes in so many colors I didn't even count them all!! LOL The fit is true to size, and I am wearing a medium here.

My last piece of this haul is for my comfy, cozy, Sunday morning lovin' ladies. I call it my sweatshirt shirt, because that's what it feels like! I wanted to find something a little more on the athletic comfy side, but still stylish. This top is so so comfy! I ordered in a large to make it be more roomy, and it is perfect! I love the pockets on it, because I don't know if it's just me, but I feel so much better when I have pockets. HAHAHA It is longer in the back too, so perfect to wear with leggings. This top also does come in lots of colors!

A little bit about the Fashionista

Hello my fashion people!

I have quite a few new followers and realized I have never really done an about me blog. I want to be as open and honest as possible with you all, since my ultimate goal with this blog has always been to be attainable.

Let's start with the basics...

My name is Ashlyn and I am a 23 year old lady who LOVES fashion! I went to school for fashion merchandising and couldn't have picked a better major for myself.

I am currently in a season of change, since I am engaged to my high school sweetheart, and about to be married! YAY! Paul and I met in 6th grade, and I very strongly disliked him...LOL I wanted absolutely nothing to do with that tall/new kid. Well you can guess how things quickly changed and now here we are, about to be married!

I think the best part of our relationship is that Paul is a dairy farmer. No that isn't a typo, we have two of the most opposite passions in life. However, I think that is why we have always worked so well together.

I have the best family, and future family! They are all so supportive of all I do and I really wouldn't have even started to blog without their encouragement.

I wanted to start to blog to try and be a positive voice among so much negativity in this world. I love to shop and I love to help other women feel as beautiful as they should! There is no perfect body type, style, or fit for everyone. No two people are the same, but that is what makes this world so great! We all were important enough for God to create us to be exactly who we are today! HOW COOL IS THAT?!

My top 5 must haves in life are:

• Jesus
• Clothes
• Sweets
• Coffee
• Dogs

Not really sure why I put that in here but if anyone was wondering those are it. HAHAHA

I'm really not very exciting, but I wanted to become a blogger that was attainable like I said earlier. I see so many bloggers online and I couldn't afford one article that they have in a post, even if I gave my right arm. Since I know most people aren't going to be throwing $1,000 down on a handbag, I wanted to be a blogger that is relatable. Someone who is just a regular ole girl who likes to wear cute clothes. 

Anyway, I hope you all liked learning a little bit about the girl on the screen. I am not very interesting, but I can eat a pint of ice cream faster than anyone I know, so that's something right??
